Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1, 95 at Berkeley California) is an actor. Her work includes actress for Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie mayr's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes directors and actors, also pursued these careers. The actress made her film debut at age nine in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she had become the main character of Cristina Comencini's Zoo as well as a part of Michele's The Church. She was later cast as Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career truly took off. she had the opportunity to move on from playing very young girls to more complex, mature role. The film received an enthusiastic response in the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi was among the most beloved actresses of Argento and played the role of an anorexic child searching for the killer. Asia has worked with Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome, and The Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze, Asia's absorbed style of intense acting was used well. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di perspective as Arianna an actress with physical handicap. The complex and demanding part earned her an award: a David di Donatello Award for the Best Actress. In 1995, she was a co-star alongside Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration was rewarded with the David di Donatello prize and a Grolla d'oro. The first short film Asia made was an episode of the De Generazione movie. Two years later, Asia became a director and produced two films. One of them was AbelAsia is a tribute for her father. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva, in which she starred as the lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film was released in May 20, 2000, both in Italy and the rest of world. It was awarded in the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
